One Cobalt-iP Intelligent Power DCC/DIGITAL READY Point Motor with all installation accessories including one of our very popular double sided foam mounting pads. Suitable for all Gauges from large to very small. Cobalt-iP Digital’s super-low static current draw means very low power bus needs and Cobalt-iP Digital is also able to cope with a very wide range of DC or DCC power supply voltages. We prefer 9~12v, but any voltage from 7 to 23 volts is acceptable! Cobalt-iP Digital includes the ability to activate and deactivate self-centring for easy installation and the throw direction can also be changed over with a simple software command allowing you to give easy accurate matching to software driven computer display of track diagrams or computer control. (Clever modellers will also find that making a Cobalt operate a 3-position semaphore signal is also now possible, by using a simple momentary power interruption to initiate the centring function!). Installation is easier than ever as Cobalt-iP Digital is already centred and ready to install straight out of the box. Operationally, it is able to do anything you might imagine as it has THREE break before make changeover switches – One is a low power SPDT switch linked to The Cobalt-iP Digital drive power directly to allow easy connection of low current lighting for panels, signals etc… or for linking to your computer or system control to report point position. The other two are super high power SPDT switches suitable for up to 5 amps continuous power handling – usable for frog polarity, interlocking or many similar applications. With Cobalt-IP Intelligent Power Digital Motors, you can use all the switching for layout needs as the LEDs for control panel indication can simply be put in-line with the frog switching power!
